לָכֵ֛ן גָּלָ֥ה עַמִּ֖י מִבְּלִי־דָ֑עַת וּכְבוֹדוֹ֙ מְתֵ֣י רָעָ֔ב וַהֲמוֹנ֖וֹ צִחֵ֥ה צָמָֽא׃
Perciò il mio popolo è andato in cattività, per mancanza di conoscenza; E i loro uomini onorevoli sono affamati, e la loro moltitudine è arsa dalla sete.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Therefore my people are gone into captivity unawares, and their honourable men have died through famine, and their multitude through dryness and thirst.
