דָּבַ֨ק לְשׁ֥וֹן יוֹנֵ֛ק אֶל־חכּ֖וֹ בַּצָּמָ֑א עֽוֹלָלִים֙ שָׁ֣אֲלוּ לֶ֔חֶם פֹּרֵ֖שׂ אֵ֥ין לָהֶֽם׃ (ס)
La lingua del bambino che succhia si attacca alla bocca per sete; I bambini chiedono il pane, e nessuno lo spezza.

The tongue of the youth clings to his palate from thirst. Children ask for bread, but there is no one who offers it to them.
