Targum su Numeri 35:12
וְהָי֨וּ לָכֶ֧ם הֶעָרִ֛ים לְמִקְלָ֖ט מִגֹּאֵ֑ל וְלֹ֤א יָמוּת֙ הָרֹצֵ֔חַ עַד־עָמְד֛וֹ לִפְנֵ֥י הָעֵדָ֖ה לַמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃
E le città saranno per te come rifugio dal vendicatore, affinché l'omicida non muoia, finché non si presenterà davanti alla congregazione per il giudizio.
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
And they shall be to you for cities of refuge for the manslayer from the avenger of blood, that the man may not be put to death till he shall have stood before the congregation for judgment.
