וְהָיָה֩ בֵית־יַעֲקֹ֨ב אֵ֜שׁ וּבֵ֧ית יוֹסֵ֣ף לֶהָבָ֗ה וּבֵ֤ית עֵשָׂו֙ לְקַ֔שׁ וְדָלְק֥וּ בָהֶ֖ם וַאֲכָל֑וּם וְלֹֽא־יִֽהְיֶ֤ה שָׂרִיד֙ לְבֵ֣ית עֵשָׂ֔ו כִּ֥י יְהוָ֖ה דִּבֵּֽר׃
E la casa di Giacobbe sarà un fuoco, E la casa di Giuseppe una fiamma, E la casa di Esaù per la stoppia, E si accenderanno in loro e li divoreranno; E non rimarrà alcun residuo della casa di Esaù; Perché l'Eterno ha parlato.
Targum Jonathan on Obadiah
The House of Ya'aqov will be strong as fire, and the House of Yosef will be powerful as flame, but the House of Esav will be weak as straw, and they will rule over them and kill them, and there will be no survivor left from House of Esav, for thus Hashem had decreed.
