כִּ֣י שַׂ֤מְתָּ מֵעִיר֙ לַגָּ֔ל קִרְיָ֥ה בְצוּרָ֖ה לְמַפֵּלָ֑ה אַרְמ֤וֹן זָרִים֙ מֵעִ֔יר לְעוֹלָ֖ם לֹ֥א יִבָּנֶֽה׃

주께서 성읍으로 무더기를 이루시며 견고한 성읍으로 황무케 하시며 외인의 궁정으로 성읍이 되지 못하게 하사 영영히 건설되지 못하게 하셨으므로
