המרנעה The refreshing. Comp. מרגוע rest (Job 6:16); both words are substantives. According to the grammarian of Jerusalem¹³This author is mentioned by I. E. several times, but always without his name. Comp. Moznaim, Introduction: וחכם ירושלמי לא ידענו שמו And a learned man from Jerusalem, whose name I do not know. מרגעה is a participle.¹⁴Participle Hiphil of רגע; lit.: that which gives rest.
