What is the reason? Moses said, eat it today, for Sabbath is this day to the Eternal⁹⁹Ex. 16:25., etc. One day. And it says, by repentance and satisfaction you will be helped⁶⁴Is. 30:15. The interpretation agrees with the interpretation in Targum Jonathan ben Uziel.. By keeping the Sabbath and staying put you will be freed.
