Although it is usual⁴⁰lit. ‘in every place’. to give precedence to the Holy Words⁴¹lit. ‘words of holiness’, the Hagiographa. over the words of [prophetical] traditions,⁴²The Prophets forming the second division of the Scriptures. in this case the latter⁴³Jeremiah, although it is included in the Prophets. takes precedence over the former.⁴⁴The Psalms, which are included in the Hagiographa.
