וְעֵ֣ין אֱלָהֲהֹ֗ם הֲוָת֙ עַל־שָׂבֵ֣י יְהוּדָיֵ֔א וְלָא־בַטִּ֣לוּ הִמּ֔וֹ עַד־טַעְמָ֖א לְדָרְיָ֣וֶשׁ יְהָ֑ךְ וֶאֱדַ֛יִן יְתִיב֥וּן נִשְׁתְּוָנָ֖א עַל־דְּנָֽה׃ (פ)

Lecz oko ich Boga spoczęło na starszych Żydów i nie kazali im przestać, dopóki sprawa nie dotrze do Dariusza, a następnie odpowiedź powinna zostać zwrócona w liście na jej temat.
