כִּ֤י הֵשַׁח֙ יֹשְׁבֵ֣י מָר֔וֹם קִרְיָ֖ה נִשְׂגָּבָ֑ה יַשְׁפִּילֶ֤נָּה יַשְׁפִּילָהּ֙ עַד־אֶ֔רֶץ יַגִּיעֶ֖נָּה עַד־עָפָֽר׃
Bo upokorzył mieszkańców wysokości, stolicę wyniosłą; poniżył ją, poniżył ku ziemi, pochylił do prochu.

השח He bringeth down. A verb ע״ע like הֵקַל he afflicted slightly (8:23). Them that dwell on high, etc. This refers to the heathens.
