I rozesłał list do wszystkich dzielnic królewskich, do każdej dzielnicy pismem jej właściwem, i do każdego narodu stosownie do języka jego, aby każdy mąż był panem w domu swoim; a ogłoszono to językiem każdego narodu.
Avot D'Rabbi Natan
Rabbi Shimon ben Gamliel would say: Anyone who brings peace into his own home is regarded by the Torah as if he had brought peace to everyone in Israel. And anyone who brings jealousy and competitiveness into his own home is regarded by the Torah as if he had brought jealousy and competition to Israel. For everyone is a king in his own home, as it says (Esther 1:22), “So that every man shall rule over his own home.”
