וְנִשְׁל֨וֹחַ סְפָרִ֜ים בְּיַ֣ד הָרָצִים֮ אֶל־כָּל־מְדִינ֣וֹת הַמֶּלֶךְ֒ לְהַשְׁמִ֡יד לַהֲרֹ֣ג וּלְאַבֵּ֣ד אֶת־כָּל־הַ֠יְּהוּדִים מִנַּ֨עַר וְעַד־זָקֵ֨ן טַ֤ף וְנָשִׁים֙ בְּי֣וֹם אֶחָ֔ד בִּשְׁלוֹשָׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֛ר לְחֹ֥דֶשׁ שְׁנֵים־עָשָׂ֖ר הוּא־חֹ֣דֶשׁ אֲדָ֑ר וּשְׁלָלָ֖ם לָבֽוֹז׃
Entiaram-se as cartas pelos correios a todas províncias do rei, para que destruíssem, matassem, e fizessem perecer todos os judeus, moços e velhos, crianças e mulheres, em um mesmo dia, a treze do duodécimo mês, que é o mês de adar, e para que lhes saqueassem os bens.

So that scrolls would be dispatched. And letters shall be sent, estre tramis in O.F. [to be sent], which is of the [same grammatical] form as, “Did he ever fight [נִלְחוֹם]?”7Shoftim 11:25. and as “Did I not appear [הַנִגְלֹה]?”8I Shmuel 2:27. and as “will be silenced [נִדְמֹה].”9Hoshea 10:15.
