וַיְהִ֗י בְּהִשָּׁמַ֤ע דְּבַר־הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ וְדָת֔וֹ וּֽבְהִקָּבֵ֞ץ נְעָר֥וֹת רַבּ֛וֹת אֶל־שׁוּשַׁ֥ן הַבִּירָ֖ה אֶל־יַ֣ד הֵגָ֑י וַתִּלָּקַ֤ח אֶסְתֵּר֙ אֶל־בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ אֶל־יַ֥ד הֵגַ֖י שֹׁמֵ֥ר הַנָּשִֽׁים׃
E aconteceu que, quando a ordem do rei e seu decreto foram ouvidos, e muitas jovens foram reunidas em Shushan, a capital, sob os cuidados de Heigai, Esther também foi levada à casa do rei, sob os cuidados de Heigai, o guardião das mulheres.

And let the king appoint appointees [(each of whom generally knows the beautiful women in his province)] in all the provinces of his kingdom to gather every maiden who is a virgin and of beautiful appearance to Shushan, the capital, to the harem, to Haigeh, the king's eunuch, keeper of the women, to provide their ointments.
