הַיֹּשֵׁב֙ בָּעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֔את יָמ֕וּת בַּחֶ֖רֶב וּבָרָעָ֣ב וּבַדָּ֑בֶר וְהַיּוֹצֵא֩ וְנָפַ֨ל עַל־הַכַּשְׂדִּ֜ים הַצָּרִ֤ים עֲלֵיכֶם֙ יחיה [וְחָיָ֔ה] וְהָֽיְתָה־לּ֥וֹ נַפְשׁ֖וֹ לְשָׁלָֽל׃
Живущий в этом городе умрет от меча и от голода и от чумы; а тот, кто выйдет и уйдет в осаду к Халдеям, он будет жить, и его жизнь будет ему добычей.

and he will have his life as a prey As a man who plunders booty, and he seizes and goes away, so will his life be plundered from death by the slayers.
