לָכֵ֣ן חַי־אָ֡נִי נְאֻם֩ יְהוָ֨ה צְבָא֜וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל כִּֽי־מוֹאָ֞ב כִּסְדֹ֤ם תִּֽהְיֶה֙ וּבְנֵ֤י עַמּוֹן֙ כַּֽעֲמֹרָ֔ה מִמְשַׁ֥ק חָר֛וּל וּמִכְרֵה־מֶ֥לַח וּשְׁמָמָ֖ה עַד־עוֹלָ֑ם שְׁאֵרִ֤ית עַמִּי֙ יְבָזּ֔וּם וְיֶ֥תֶר גוי [גּוֹיִ֖י] יִנְחָלֽוּם׃
Посему, как Я живу, говорит Господь Саваоф, Бог Израилев: непременно Моав будет как Содом, а сыновья Аммона - как Гоморра, место размножения крапивы и солончаков, так и опустошение во веки; Остаток Моего народа испортит их, и остаток Моего народа наследует их.
