Komentaryo sa Amos 9:10: Tze'enah Ure'enah & Rashi

Tze'enah Ure'enah

“Shall perish by the sword, etc.” [9:10]. A sword will kill all of My sinners, who used to say that the evil would not happen to us. Similarly, when the evil will come upon us, it will not be because of our sins. They have denied the Holy One and said that the world goes along without a ruler. When something happens to someone, it is an accident, and not from the Holy One because of transgressions.3Radak, Amos, 9:10.
