וְיַפְקֵ֨ד הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ פְּקִידִים֮ בְּכָל־מְדִינ֣וֹת מַלְכוּתוֹ֒ וְיִקְבְּצ֣וּ אֶת־כָּל־נַעֲרָֽה־בְ֠תוּלָה טוֹבַ֨ת מַרְאֶ֜ה אֶל־שׁוּשַׁ֤ן הַבִּירָה֙ אֶל־בֵּ֣ית הַנָּשִׁ֔ים אֶל־יַ֥ד הֵגֶ֛א סְרִ֥יס הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ שֹׁמֵ֣ר הַנָּשִׁ֑ים וְנָת֖וֹן תַּמְרוּקֵיהֶֽן׃
Magtalaga ang hari ng mga katiwala sa lahat ng lalawigan ng kanyang kaharian, upang tipunin nila ang lahat ng dalagang birhen na magaganda ang anyo sa Susan na kuta, sa bahay ng mga babae, sa pangangalaga ni Hegai na eunuko ng hari, ang tagapag-ingat ng mga babae; at bigyan sila ng kanilang mga pampaganda.
