Tze'enah Ure'enah

“Sun and moon stand still” [3:11]. When Joshua battled the kings in the land of Israel, the sun and moon stood still, so that the day should be longer and he should be able to kill all the kings of the land of Israel.10Joshua, 10:12–13. With the lightning and fire from heaven, the nations were killed and it was illumined for Israel. The Holy One expelled the nations from the land of Israel with anger. In the same way that the Holy One helped, the Holy One will also help in the days of the Messiah. He will kill the multitudes of Gog and Magog.
