אֵ֤י לָזֹאת֙ אסלוח־[אֶֽסְלַֽח־] לָ֔ךְ בָּנַ֣יִךְ עֲזָב֔וּנִי וַיִּשָּׁבְע֖וּ בְּלֹ֣א אֱלֹהִ֑ים וָאַשְׂבִּ֤עַ אוֹתָם֙ וַיִּנְאָ֔פוּ וּבֵ֥ית זוֹנָ֖ה יִתְגֹּדָֽדוּ׃
Dahil ba rito ay patatawarin kita? Tinalikuran Ako ng iyong mga anak, at sumumpa sila sa mga hindi naman diyos. Binusog Ko sila, ngunit nangalunya sila, at sama-sama silang dumagsa nang pulu-pulutong sa bahay ng babaeng nagbebenta ng aliw.

Shall I forgive you for this? This is the rhetorical question, Shall I forgive you for this? And Menahem (p. 22) explains אי like אין, not. For this I will not forgive you, because your children have forsaken Me, when I sated them with all good.
