כִּי־כֹ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה לְאִ֤ישׁ יְהוּדָה֙ וְלִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם נִ֥ירוּ לָכֶ֖ם נִ֑יר וְאַֽל־תִּזְרְע֖וּ אֶל־קוֹצִֽים׃
Sapagkat ganito ang sabi ng Walang-Hanggan sa mga tao ng Juda at sa Jerusalem: Bungkalin ninyo ang inyong tiwangwang na lupa, at huwag kayong maghasik sa gitna ng mga tinik.
Duties of the Heart
One of the pious would instruct his disciples: "learn the bad things first to avoid them, and afterwards learn the good things and do them, as written 'Plow for yourself a furrow and do not sow upon thorns'" (Yirmiyahu 4:3).
