שׁוֹטְט֞וּ בְּחוּצ֣וֹת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם וּרְאוּ־נָ֤א וּדְעוּ֙ וּבַקְשׁ֣וּ בִרְחוֹבוֹתֶ֔יהָ אִם־תִּמְצְא֣וּ אִ֔ישׁ אִם־יֵ֛שׁ עֹשֶׂ֥ה מִשְׁפָּ֖ט מְבַקֵּ֣שׁ אֱמוּנָ֑ה וְאֶסְלַ֖ח לָֽהּ׃
Lumibot kayo sa mga lansangan ng Jerusalem, at tumingin kayo ngayon, at alamin ninyo, at hanapin ninyo sa kanyang mga liwasan, kung makakatagpo kayo ng isang tao, kung may sinumang gumagawa ng katarungan at naghahangad ng katapatan, at patatawarin Ko ang lungsod.

Rav Huna said,592Reishit Chochmah, Shaar HaKedushah, Ch. 12 “The Jewish people were only exiled from their land because they transgressed the verse,593Exodus 23:7 ‘Distance yourself from a false word.’” Similarly, our sages, of blessed memory, stated,594Talmud Bavli, Chagigah 14a “Jerusalem was not destroyed until trustworthy men ceased to exist in it, as it states,595Jeremiah 5:1 ‘Walk about in the streets of Jerusalem, see now and know, and seek in its plazas; if you will find a man, if there is one who dispenses justice and seeks truth, then I will forgive her.’”
