At ang mga nilalang na buhay ay tumatakbo at bumabalik, na tulad ng anyo ng kislap ng kidlat.
Torah Ohr
The explanation is that it is written: “And the living creatures ran and returned” — veha-chayot ratzo va-shov. This aspect of ratzo, “running,” refers to a longing in the heart to cleave to Him, blessed be He. It also has the meaning of movement or running, like one who runs away from his place. So too, this longing of the supernal living creatures is their desire to go out and rise beyond their place, to become nullified and included within the blessed Infinite Light, Ein Sof Baruch Hu. This is similar to what is written: “Seraphim stand above Him.” The meaning of “above Him” is: above the Shechinah.
