וַיֹּ֗אמֶר הִנֵּ֣ה אָנֹכִי֮ כֹּרֵ֣ת בְּרִית֒ נֶ֤גֶד כָּֽל־עַמְּךָ֙ אֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה נִפְלָאֹ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹֽא־נִבְרְא֥וּ בְכָל־הָאָ֖רֶץ וּבְכָל־הַגּוֹיִ֑ם וְרָאָ֣ה כָל־הָ֠עָם אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּ֨ה בְקִרְבּ֜וֹ אֶת־מַעֲשֵׂ֤ה יְהוָה֙ כִּֽי־נוֹרָ֣א ה֔וּא אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֲנִ֖י עֹשֶׂ֥ה עִמָּֽךְ׃
At sinabi Niya: “Narito, nagtatatag Ako ng isang tipan; sa harap ng buong bayan mo ay gagawa Ako ng mga kababalaghang hindi pa nilikha kailanman sa buong daigdig o sa alinmang bansa; at makikita ng buong bayang kinaroroonan mo ang gawa ng Walang-Hanggan, sapagkat kakila-kilabot ang Aking gagawin sa iyo.
