וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לְאַבְרָ֗ם יָדֹ֨עַ תֵּדַ֜ע כִּי־גֵ֣ר ׀ יִהְיֶ֣ה זַרְעֲךָ֗ בְּאֶ֙רֶץ֙ לֹ֣א לָהֶ֔ם וַעֲבָד֖וּם וְעִנּ֣וּ אֹתָ֑ם אַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָֽה׃
At sinabi niya kay Abram: “Tiyakin mong malaman na ang iyong lahi ay magiging dayuhan sa isang lupaing hindi kanila, at paglilingkuran nila sila at pahihirapan sila sa loob ng apat na raang taon.”
