וְהֶעֱמַ֤דְנוּ עָלֵ֙ינוּ֙ מִצְוֺ֔ת לָתֵ֥ת עָלֵ֛ינוּ שְׁלִשִׁ֥ית הַשֶּׁ֖קֶל בַּשָּׁנָ֑ה לַעֲבֹדַ֖ת בֵּ֥ית אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
Nagtakda rin kami ng mga utos para sa aming sarili, na magbigay bawat isa sa amin ng ikatlong bahagi ng isang siklo bawat taon para sa paglilingkod sa bahay ng aming Diyos:

Everyone passing by to be counted must give this—half a shekel based on the shekel of the Holy [Sanctuary,] where a shekel is twenty geirah. Half of such a shekel must be given as a terumah-offering to Adonoy.
