וְהָיָ֣ה כְשִׁבְתּ֔וֹ עַ֖ל כִּסֵּ֣א מַמְלַכְתּ֑וֹ וְכָ֨תַב ל֜וֹ אֶת־מִשְׁנֵ֨ה הַתּוֹרָ֤ה הַזֹּאת֙ עַל־סֵ֔פֶר מִלִּפְנֵ֥י הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים הַלְוִיִּֽם׃
At mangyayari, kapag nakaupo na siya sa trono ng kanyang kaharian, ay susulat siya para sa kanyang sarili ng kopya ng Torah na ito sa isang aklat, mula sa aklat na nasa harapan ng mga saserdoteng Levita.
Targum Jonathan
And it shall be that if he be steadfast in the commandments of the law he shall sit upon the throne of his kingdom in security. And let the elders write for him the section (pharasha) of this law in a book before the priests of the tribe of Levi;
