לְמַ֨עַן תִּירָ֜א אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ לִ֠שְׁמֹר אֶת־כָּל־חֻקֹּתָ֣יו וּמִצְוֺתָיו֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָנֹכִ֣י מְצַוֶּךָ֒ אַתָּה֙ וּבִנְךָ֣ וּבֶן־בִּנְךָ֔ כֹּ֖ל יְמֵ֣י חַיֶּ֑יךָ וּלְמַ֖עַן יַאֲרִכֻ֥ן יָמֶֽיךָ׃
upang ikaw ay matakot sa Walang-Hanggan na iyong Diyos, na sundin ang lahat ng Kanyang mga batas at ang Kanyang mga utos na aking iniuutos sa iyo — ikaw, at ang iyong anak, at ang anak ng iyong anak — sa lahat ng araw ng iyong buhay; at upang humaba ang iyong mga araw.

that thou mayest fear the Lord thy God, and keep all His statutes and precepts which I command thee; thou, thy son, and the son of thy son, all the days of thy life; and that thou mayest prolong thy days.
