וַיִּפָּקְד֣וּ בַיּוֹם֩ הַה֨וּא אֲנָשִׁ֜ים עַל־הַנְּשָׁכ֗וֹת לָא֨וֹצָר֥וֹת לַתְּרוּמוֹת֮ לָרֵאשִׁ֣ית וְלַמַּֽעַשְׂרוֹת֒ לִכְנ֨וֹס בָּהֶ֜ם לִשְׂדֵ֤י הֶעָרִים֙ מְנָא֣וֹת הַתּוֹרָ֔ה לַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים וְלַלְוִיִּ֑ם כִּ֚י שִׂמְחַ֣ת יְהוּדָ֔ה עַל־הַכֹּהֲנִ֥ים וְעַל־הַלְוִיִּ֖ם הָעֹמְדִֽים׃
און אין יענעם טאָג זײַנען אױפֿגעזעצט געװאָרן מענטשן אױף די קאַמערן פֿאַר די שאַצן, פֿאַר די אָפּשײדונגען, פֿאַר די ערשטפֿרוכטן, און פֿאַר די מעֲשׂרות, כּדי אײַנצוזאַמלען אין זײ, לױט די פֿעלדער פֿון די שטעט, די אָפּגאָבן פֿון דער תּוֹרה פֿאַר די כֹּהנים און פֿאַר די לוִיִים; װאָרום יהודה האָט זיך געפֿרײט מיט די כֹּהנים און מיט די לוִיִים װאָס זײַנען דאָרטן געשטאַנען.
