וַיֹּ֗אמֶר לְֽהַשְׁמִ֫ידָ֥ם לוּלֵ֡י מֹ֘שֶׁ֤ה בְחִיר֗וֹ עָמַ֣ד בַּפֶּ֣רֶץ לְפָנָ֑יו לְהָשִׁ֥יב חֲ֝מָת֗וֹ מֵֽהַשְׁחִֽית׃
און ער האָט געװאָלט זײ פֿאַרטיליקן, װען ניט משה זײַן אױסדערװײלטערװאָלט זיך געשטעלט פֿאַר אים אין דעם בראָך, אָפּצוהאַלטן זײַן גרימצאָרן פֿון אומברענגען.

Adonoy said to Moshe, “I have seen [observed] this people, and behold they are a stiff-necked people.

Now leave Me alone and My wrath will blaze against them and destroy them. I will then make you into a great nation.”

Moshe implored before the Presence of Adonoy, his God, and he said, “Adonoy! Why should Your wrath blaze against Your people whom You brought out from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?
