וַתָּ֨קָם רִבְקָ֜ה וְנַעֲרֹתֶ֗יהָ וַתִּרְכַּ֙בְנָה֙ עַל־הַגְּמַלִּ֔ים וַתֵּלַ֖כְנָה אַחֲרֵ֣י הָאִ֑ישׁ וַיִּקַּ֥ח הָעֶ֛בֶד אֶת־רִבְקָ֖ה וַיֵּלַֽךְ׃
און רבקה איז אױפֿגעשטאַנען מיט אירע מײדלעך, און זײ האָבן זיך אַרױפֿגעזעצט אױף די קעמלען, און זײַנען געגאַנגען נאָך דעם מאַן. און דער קנעכט האָט גענומען רבקהן, און איז אַװעקגעגאַנגען.
Berakhot
Rab Ashe said : With reference to what Rab Nahman said, viz. that Manoah was an 'Am ha'ares, he had not even learnt [the Scriptures which are taught] in an elementary school; as it is said, "And Rebekah arose, and her damsels, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man" (Gen. xxiv. 61) — they went behind the man, not in front of him.
