אִם־יִרְא֨וּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֜ים הָעֹלִ֣ים מִמִּצְרַ֗יִם מִבֶּ֨ן עֶשְׂרִ֤ים שָׁנָה֙ וָמַ֔עְלָה אֵ֚ת הָאֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִשְׁבַּ֛עְתִּי לְאַבְרָהָ֥ם לְיִצְחָ֖ק וּֽלְיַעֲקֹ֑ב כִּ֥י לֹא־מִלְא֖וּ אַחֲרָֽי׃
אױב די מענטשן װאָס זײַנען אַרױפֿגעגאַנגען פֿון מִצרַיִם, פֿון צװאַנציק יאָר אַלט און העכער, װעלן אָנזען די ערד, װאָס איך האָב צוגעשװאָרן צו אַבֿרהמען, צו יצחקן, און צו יעקבֿן! װײַל זײ זײַנען ניט געגאַנגען געטרײַ נאָך מיר.
