וְהֶעֱמַ֤דְנוּ עָלֵ֙ינוּ֙ מִצְוֺ֔ת לָתֵ֥ת עָלֵ֛ינוּ שְׁלִשִׁ֥ית הַשֶּׁ֖קֶל בַּשָּׁנָ֑ה לַעֲבֹדַ֖ת בֵּ֥ית אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
און מיר האָבן געשטעלט אױף אונדז אַ מִצװה, אַרױפֿצולײגן אױף זיך אַ דריטל שֶקל אַ יאָר פֿאַר דעם דינסט פֿון אונדזער גאָטס הױז,
Exodus
Everyone passing by to be counted must give this—half a shekel based on the shekel of the Holy [Sanctuary,] where a shekel is twenty geirah. Half of such a shekel must be given as a terumah-offering to Adonoy.
