וַיַּרְא֙ חֹתֵ֣ן מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֵ֛ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־ה֥וּא עֹשֶׂ֖ה לָעָ֑ם וַיֹּ֗אמֶר מָֽה־הַדָּבָ֤ר הַזֶּה֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר אַתָּ֤ה עֹשֶׂה֙ לָעָ֔ם מַדּ֗וּעַ אַתָּ֤ה יוֹשֵׁב֙ לְבַדֶּ֔ךָ וְכָל־הָעָ֛ם נִצָּ֥ב עָלֶ֖יךָ מִן־בֹּ֥קֶר עַד־עָֽרֶב׃
האָט משהס שװער צוגעזען אַלץ װאָס ער טוט מיט דעם פֿאָלק, און ער האָט געזאָגט: װאָס איז די דאָזיקע זאַך װאָס דו טוסט מיט דעם פֿאָלק? פֿאַר װאָס זיצסט דו אַלײן, און דאָס גאַנצע פֿאָלק שטײט פֿאַר דיר פֿון פֿרימאָרגן ביז אָװנט?

Moshe told his father-in-law all that Adonoy had done to Pharaoh and to Egypt for the sake of Yisrael; including all the hardship that had befallen them on the way, and [how] Adonoy had rescued them.

It was on the following day [that] Moshe sat to judge the people and the people stood around Moshe from morning until evening.
