לִפְעֻלּ֣וֹת אָ֭דָם בִּדְבַ֣ר שְׂפָתֶ֑יךָ אֲנִ֥י שָׁ֝מַ֗רְתִּי אָרְח֥וֹת פָּרִֽיץ׃
אין מעשׂים פֿון מענטשן, האָב איך, לױטן װאָרט פֿון דײַנע ליפּן, מיך געהיט פֿון די װעגן פֿון דעם פֿאַרשײַטן.
Proverbs
So, [(as with the birds)] are the ways of all committers of theft [(The "morsels" are tempting to them, and easily attainable, but, in the end,)] it [the theft] takes the life of its owner [i.e., the thief].
