וַיֹּ֧אמֶר יְהוָ֛ה אֶל־הַשָּׂטָ֖ן מֵאַ֣יִן תָּבֹ֑א וַיַּ֨עַן הַשָּׂטָ֤ן אֶת־יְהוָה֙ וַיֹּאמַ֔ר מִשּׁ֣וּט בָּאָ֔רֶץ וּמֵֽהִתְהַלֵּ֖ךְ בָּֽהּ׃
האָט גאָט געזאָגט צום שׂטן: פֿון װאַנען קומסטו? האָט דער שׂטן געענטפֿערט גאָט, און האָט געזאָגט: פֿון װאַנדערן איבער דער ערד און פֿון אַרומגײן אױף איר.
Aramaic Targum to Job
And the LORD said to the Adversary, "From where have you come?" And the Adversary responded before the LORD: "From going about the earth to investigate the deeds of mortals and from walking upon it."
