וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־הַשָּׂטָ֔ן הֲשַׂ֥מְתָּ לִבְּךָ֖ עַל־עַבְדִּ֣י אִיּ֑וֹב כִּ֣י אֵ֤ין כָּמֹ֙הוּ֙ בָּאָ֔רֶץ אִ֣ישׁ תָּ֧ם וְיָשָׁ֛ר יְרֵ֥א אֱלֹהִ֖ים וְסָ֥ר מֵרָֽע׃
האָט גאָט געזאָגט צום שׂטן: האָסטו אַכט געטאָן אױף מײַן קנעכט אִיובֿן, אַז עס איז ניטאָ אַזאַ װי ער אױף דער ערד, אַ מאַן ערלעך און רעכטפֿאַרטיק, גאָטספֿאָרכטיק און אָפּגעקערט פֿון שלעכטס?
Aramaic Targum to Job
And the LORD said to the Adversary: "Has your heart considered My servant Job? For none is like him on earth among the gentiles — a man pure and upright, reverent before the LORD and fleeing from evil!"
