וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֗ה אֶסְפָה־לִּ֞י שִׁבְעִ֣ים אִישׁ֮ מִזִּקְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָדַ֔עְתָּ כִּי־הֵ֛ם זִקְנֵ֥י הָעָ֖ם וְשֹׁטְרָ֑יו וְלָקַחְתָּ֤ אֹתָם֙ אֶל־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וְהִֽתְיַצְּב֥וּ שָׁ֖ם עִמָּֽךְ׃
האָט גאָט געזאָגט צו משהן: זאַמל מיר אײַן זיבעציק מאַן פֿון די עלטסטע פֿון ישׂראל, די װאָס דו װײסט אַז זײ זײַנען די עלטסטע פֿון פֿאָלק, און זײַנע אױפֿזעערס, און זאָלסט זײ נעמען צום אוֹהל-מוֹעד, און זײ זאָלן זיך דאָרטן שטעלן מיט דיר.
Targum Jonathan
Then spake the Lord unto Mosheh, Gather together in My name seventy righteous men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be elders of the people, and who were set over them in Mizraim, and bring them to the taberncle to stand there with thee.
