זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֞ר אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֣ה יְהוָ֗ה לִבְנ֤וֹת צְלָפְחָד֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לַטּ֥וֹב בְּעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם תִּהְיֶ֣ינָה לְנָשִׁ֑ים אַ֗ךְ לְמִשְׁפַּ֛חַת מַטֵּ֥ה אֲבִיהֶ֖ם תִּהְיֶ֥ינָה לְנָשִֽׁים׃
דאָס איז די זאַך װאָס גאָט האָט באַפֿױלן װעגן די טעכטער פֿון צלָפֿחָדן, אַזױ צו זאָגן: זײ מעגן װערן פֿאַר װײַבער צו דעם װאָס װעט װוילגעפֿעלן אין זײערע אױגן, אָבער אין דער משפּחה פֿון דעם שבֿט פֿון זײער פֿאָטער זאָלן זײ װערן פֿאַר װײַבער.
Targum Jonathan
This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded,-not for the generations that shall arise after the division of the land, but for the daughters of Zelophehad, saying: They may be the wives of them who are proper in their eyes, only such must be of the families of their father's tribe.
