וַיַּצְמַ֞ח יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהִים֙ מִן־הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה כָּל־עֵ֛ץ נֶחְמָ֥ד לְמַרְאֶ֖ה וְט֣וֹב לְמַאֲכָ֑ל וְעֵ֤ץ הַֽחַיִּים֙ בְּת֣וֹךְ הַגָּ֔ן וְעֵ֕ץ הַדַּ֖עַת ט֥וֹב וָרָֽע׃

און גאָט דער האַר האָט געמאַכט שפּראָצן פֿון דער ערד אַלערלײ בײמער גלוסטיק אָנצוקוקן און גוט צום עסן; אױך דעם בױם פֿון לעבן, אין מיטן גאָרטן, און דעם בױם פֿון װיסן גוטס און שלעכטס.

Targum Jonathan

And the Lord God made to grow from the ground every tree that was desirable to behold and good to eat, and the tree of life in the midst of the garden, whose height was a journey of five hundred years, and the tree of whose fruit they who ate would distinguish between good and evil.
