וַֽיהוָ֥ה הִתְאַנֶּף־בִּ֖י עַל־דִּבְרֵיכֶ֑ם וַיִּשָּׁבַ֗ע לְבִלְתִּ֤י עָבְרִי֙ אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן וּלְבִלְתִּי־בֹא֙ אֶל־הָאָ֣רֶץ הַטּוֹבָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ נֹתֵ֥ן לְךָ֖ נַחֲלָֽה׃
און גאָט האָט געצערנט אױף מיר פֿון אײַערטװעגן, און ער האָט געשװאָרן אַז איך זאָל ניט אַריבערגײן דעם יַרדן, און ניט קומען אין דעם גוטן לאַנד װאָס ה׳ דײַן גאָט גיט דיר פֿאַר אַ נחלה.
Targum Jonathan
But against me was displeasure before the Lord on account of your words, because you had murmured for the water; and He sware that I should not pass the Jordan, nor go into the land which the Lord your God giveth you to inherit.
