וַיֹּאמְרוּ֩ עַבְדֵ֨י פַרְעֹ֜ה אֵלָ֗יו עַד־מָתַי֙ יִהְיֶ֨ה זֶ֥ה לָ֙נוּ֙ לְמוֹקֵ֔שׁ שַׁלַּח֙ אֶת־הָ֣אֲנָשִׁ֔ים וְיַֽעַבְד֖וּ אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם הֲטֶ֣רֶם תֵּדַ֔ע כִּ֥י אָבְדָ֖ה מִצְרָֽיִם׃
האָבן פַּרעהס קנעכט צו אים געזאָגט: ביז וואַנען װעט דערדאָזיקער אונדז זײַן פֿאַר אַ שטרױכלונג? לאָז אַװעק די לײַט, און זאָלן זײ דינען ה׳ זײער גאָט. צי נאָך װײסטו ניט אַז מִצרַיִם גײט אונטער?
Targum Jonathan
And the servants of Pharoh said, How long shall this man be a stumbling-block to us? Let the men be released, that they may worship before the Lord their God. Art thou not aware that by His hand it will be that the land of Mizraim shall be destroyed?
