וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲדֹֽנִי־בֶ֗זֶק שִׁבְעִ֣ים ׀ מְלָכִ֡ים בְּֽהֹנוֹת֩ יְדֵיהֶ֨ם וְרַגְלֵיהֶ֜ם מְקֻצָּצִ֗ים הָי֤וּ מְלַקְּטִים֙ תַּ֣חַת שֻׁלְחָנִ֔י כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֔יתִי כֵּ֥ן שִׁלַּם־לִ֖י אֱלֹהִ֑ים וַיְבִיאֻ֥הוּ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם וַיָּ֥מָת שָֽׁם׃ (פ)
Da sprach der Herrscher von Besek: Siebzig Könige, denen die Daumen ihrer Hände und die großen Zehen ihrer Füße abgehauen waren, lasen [Brosamen] auf unter meinem Tische. So wie ich getan, so hat mir Gott vergolten. Sie brachten ihn nach Jerusalem und er starb daselbst.
