כִּ֣י הִנֵּֽה־אָנֹכִי֩ מֵקִ֨ים רֹעֶ֜ה בָּאָ֗רֶץ הַנִּכְחָד֤וֹת לֹֽא־יִפְקֹד֙ הַנַּ֣עַר לֹֽא־יְבַקֵּ֔שׁ וְהַנִּשְׁבֶּ֖רֶת לֹ֣א יְרַפֵּ֑א הַנִּצָּבָה֙ לֹ֣א יְכַלְכֵּ֔ל וּבְשַׂ֤ר הַבְּרִיאָה֙ יֹאכַ֔ל וּפַרְסֵיהֶ֖ן יְפָרֵֽק׃ (ס)

Denn siehe, ich werde einen Hirten im Lande erwecken, der nicht an die Abgeschnittenen denkt, weder die Jungen sucht noch die Gebrochenen heilt; Er wird auch nicht das füttern, was still steht, sondern das Fleisch des Fettes essen und ihre Hufe in Stücke zerbrechen.'
