אֲשֶׁר֩ נָתַ֨ן הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ לַיְּהוּדִ֣ים ׀ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּכָל־עִיר־וָעִ֗יר לְהִקָּהֵל֮ וְלַעֲמֹ֣ד עַל־נַפְשָׁם֒ לְהַשְׁמִיד֩ וְלַהֲרֹ֨ג וּלְאַבֵּ֜ד אֶת־כָּל־חֵ֨יל עַ֧ם וּמְדִינָ֛ה הַצָּרִ֥ים אֹתָ֖ם טַ֣ף וְנָשִׁ֑ים וּשְׁלָלָ֖ם לָבֽוֹז׃
Dass der König gestattet hat den Juden, die in jeder Stadt sind, sich zu versammeln und zu stehen für ihr Leben, zu vertilgen, umzubringen und zu vernichten alle Kriegsmacht des Volkes und der Landschaft, die sie angreifen würden, Kinder und Frauen, und ihre Habe zu plündern.

And the letters were sent by couriers to all the king's provinces; to destroy, to kill, and to annihilate all of the Jews, young and old, little children and women, in one day, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar, and to plunder their spoils.

And the Jews smote all of their foes, with sword stroke, and slaughter and destruction; and they did as they pleased with those who hated them.
