ל֥וּא הִקְשַׁ֖בְתָּ לְמִצְוֺתָ֑י וַיְהִ֤י כַנָּהָר֙ שְׁלוֹמֶ֔ךָ וְצִדְקָתְךָ֖ כְּגַלֵּ֥י הַיָּֽם׃
Sekiranya engkau memperhatikan perintah-perintah-Ku, maka damai sejahteramu akan seperti sungai, dan kebenaranmu seperti gelombang-gelombang laut.

לוא Oh that. The א is paragogic; comp. ההלכוא that went (Jos. 10:24).

ויהי Then had been. The ו has here the same meaning as فَ in Arabic.26Comp. I. E. on ver. 7, and on 28:18. Thy peace had been as a river, that does not cease to flow.
