אַֽל־תִּשְׂמְחִ֤י פְלֶ֙שֶׁת֙ כֻּלֵּ֔ךְ כִּ֥י נִשְׁבַּ֖ר שֵׁ֣בֶט מַכֵּ֑ךְ כִּֽי־מִשֹּׁ֤רֶשׁ נָחָשׁ֙ יֵ֣צֵא צֶ֔פַע וּפִרְי֖וֹ שָׂרָ֥ף מְעוֹפֵֽף׃
Non rallegrarti, o Filistea, tutti quanti, perché la verga che ti ha colpito è rotta: perché fuori dal serpente'la radice produrrà un basilisco, e il suo frutto sarà un serpente volante.
