무릇 너희가 여호와께 드리는 소제물에는 모두 누룩을 넣지 말지니 너희가 누룩이나 꿀을 여호와께 화제로 드려 사르지 못할지니라

It was taught in a Boraysa: Bar Kappara says, Once in sixty or seventy years15The exact number of years varied with the size of the hands of the High Priests over the years, for the surplus was what remained of these three manim from which he took two handfuls each Yom Kippur. the accumulated surplus was sufficient to provide half [the yearly quantity of incense."] Bar Kappara also taught, If he would have put into it a minute quantity of honey, no one could have withstood [resisted] the scent. Why was no honey mixed with it? Because the Torah says, (Leviticus 2:11) For any leaven or honey, do not burn from them, [as] a fire-offering to Adonoy.

Siddur Edot HaMizrach
Bar Kapara taught once every sixty or seventy years there were remains [of the spices] of half. And Bar Kapparah also taught , if one was to add a Kartov [a measure] of honey a person would not be able to stand because of the fragrance. And why do we not mix in it honey? Because the Torah says “For any leaven or any honey, do not offer incense from it – as a fire offering. L·rd of hosts, is with us. He is our refuge for us the G·d of Yaakov / Jacob forever. L·rd of hosts, happy is the man that has faith in You. L·rd save, the King will answer us on the day we call. And pleasant to the L·rd is the offering of Yehudah / Judah and Yerusalayim / Jerusalem – like the days of old.
