עָנֵ֤ה מַלְכָּא֙ וְאָמַ֣ר לכשדיא [לְכַשְׂדָּאֵ֔י] מִלְּתָ֖א מִנִּ֣י אַזְדָּ֑א הֵ֣ן לָ֤א תְהֽוֹדְעוּנַּ֙נִי֙ חֶלְמָ֣א וּפִשְׁרֵ֔הּ הַדָּמִין֙ תִּתְעַבְד֔וּן וּבָתֵּיכ֖וֹן נְוָלִ֥י יִתְּשָׂמֽוּן׃
Król odpowiedział i rzekł do Chaldejczyków: 'Sprawa jest ze mną pewna; jeśli nie przedstawicie mi snu i jego interpretacji, zostaniecie pocięci na kawałki, a wasze domy zmienią się w gnojówkę.
