Targum sobre Gênesis 29:33

וַתַּ֣הַר עוֹד֮ וַתֵּ֣לֶד בֵּן֒ וַתֹּ֗אמֶר כִּֽי־שָׁמַ֤ע יְהוָה֙ כִּֽי־שְׂנוּאָ֣ה אָנֹ֔כִי וַיִּתֶּן־לִ֖י גַּם־אֶת־זֶ֑ה וַתִּקְרָ֥א שְׁמ֖וֹ שִׁמְעֽוֹן׃

Concebeu outra vez, e deu à luz um filho; e disse:&nbsp; Porquanto o SENHOR ouviu que eu era desprezada, deu-me também este.&nbsp; E lhe chamou <span class="x" onmousemove="Show('perush','Deriva do verbo hebraico “ouvir” (“chama’” - “Chime’on” ), em alusão ao ouvir Deus suas preces.');" onmouseout="Hide('perush');">Simeão</span>.

Targum Jonathan on Genesis

And she conceived again, and bare a son. And she said, Because it was heard before the Lord that I was hated, and He gave me this also: and so will be heard before Him the voice of my children when they shall be enslaved in Mizraim. And she called his name Shimeon.
