עַ֚ל אַדְמַ֣ת עַמִּ֔י ק֥וֹץ שָׁמִ֖יר תַּֽעֲלֶ֑ה כִּ֚י עַל־כָּל־בָּתֵּ֣י מָשׂ֔וֹשׂ קִרְיָ֖ה עַלִּיזָֽה׃
Sa lupa ng aking bayan ay tutubo ang mga tinik at dawag, oo, maging sa lahat ng mga tahanan ng kagalakan, sa lunsod na nagsasaya.

Thorns and briers The Targum renders: הוּבֵאִי וּבוּר various types of thorns, for all this destruction shall be on all houses of joy, and on the joyful city Jerusalem, which is “the joy of all the land” (Lamentations 2:15).
